Curious what wind rated are the 25’poles with a single flag installed
JimReply
The manufacturer does not provide a wind rating for these poles. Since these poles are telescoping, if there is concern about an upcoming storm, the pole can be lowered or even removed from the installation sleeve until the storm passes.

The pole comes with three connecting rings to support display of two flags e.g. National and State flags. Normally the National colors would be connected to the top and second rings. To lower to half-staff I connect the flag to the second and third ring instead of the first and second ring.
Lowell Koehler, WIThe AL ad at both this website and also on the back cover of the AL Magazine mentions recommended flag sizes for poles 30 to 40 feet but only shows and lists prices for poles 16 to 25 feet. Are the 30 to 40 foot poles not available? And if not, why are they even mentioned?
Terry Snyder, CAReply
The larger sizes can be ordered by calling (888) 453-4466. This ensures we're able to properly determine actual shipping cost.

Do the ground sleeves come with caps to keep rain water out of the opening?

Yes, they do.

The instructions were right on. Easy to set up. Solar light on top works really well. The only problem that I have run into is my fault. I let a middle section come down and didnt realize it for awhile. Now I cant get a grip on it to free it and raise the section.
Robert Hawley, OHThere is no why to lower flag to half staff
Rick, NEReply
To half-staff using the telescoping flag pole, move the flag from the top position to the bottom, second-flag position. In addition, to enhance the effect, you may also lower your pole one position to reduce its height.
